National Science Day

On account of National Science Day Inter-School science quiz was organized at Army Public School. Nine schools participated in the competition and 4 participants from grade VIII to IX were chosen. A preliminary round was conducted and the top 5 schools were qualifies for the next round. Our team of students were accompanied by Ms. Lissa science faculty and they finished fifth overall. To commemorate the discovery of Sir. C. V .Raman, National Science Day was celebrated in our school. A series of events were organized to make the celebration both education and enjoyable. The prgramme began with a special assembly where students from grade V to VIII shared the significance of the day. Few students were dressed like renowned scientists and spoke about their inventions and contributions. A dance emphasizing the importance of preserving soil was presented by the students . A clay Creating Competition

A clay creating competition was conducted for the kindergarten students. The theme was animals in the zoo, fruits, vegetables and flowers. Students brought the necessary materials and showcased their creative skills.

ANTI DRUG AWARNESS

The Anti Drug awareness programme was organized at St. Joseph’s convent representatives from various school attended the programme . Mr. Nandakumar attended the session as a teacher representation and Ms. Nirmala was present as a parent representative. Five students have to be chosen from the school and monthly two programmes have to conducted base on drug abuse. Photos and videos of the programme have to be sent to the CEO office and the Annual report has to be submitted and the best will be awarded with cash prize

Staff Picnic

The management organized a picnic for the staff members on 08/02/2025. Around 55 teachers along with the principal and other sisters went to Malam Puzha  Dam and the nearby vicinity. It was a day off from their daily routine and the teachers enjoyed thoroughly.

The Annual Day

The Annual Day of our school was celebrated on 31st January with great fervor and zeal. The programme was held in two different sessions The first session for Pre-Kg , LKG and Std I to V began at 9.30 a.m. The chief guest for the session was Col.K.M. NithinKuttappa, Deputy Commandant, The Madras Regimental Centre and Mrs.Maya Kuttappa was the guest of honor. The fathers and sisters of the neighboring community were present for the annual Day. The show was witnessed by 600 parents and well –wishers. The session began with the lamp lighting ceremony by our principal Rev. Sister AviaVaz followed by the chief guest and other dignitaries. This was followed by the welcome address by our Principal Rev. Sister AviaVaz.
