Our Journey

Holy Innocents High School was founded in 1972 in Wellington Barracks in Tamil Nadu, to impart exemplary education under the helm of sound religious and general principles of the Franciscan Hospitaller Sisters of the Immaculate Conception ( FHIC). The school strives to provide students with a self-disciplined education and a strong sense of responsibility towards themselves, their parents , society and our country at large.

The school is now renamed as Holy Innocents School and Junior College . It offers classes up to the 12 th standard and prepares students for the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education( I.C.S.E) and Indian School Certificate ( ISC).

Our physical trainers leave no stone unturned in encouraging our budding athletes. Our students have represented the school at both state and national-level tournaments since the last few years.

Our debaters, dancers, and quizzers have earned laurels at inter-school competitions, and our school choir has topped other schools in group singing.

The salubrious climate and fresh mountain air work their occult on these impressionable young minds, and with the blessings of the almighty, we seek to truly live up to our school’s motto –

School Syllabus

We follow the ISC and ICSE pattern of education. The Examination is administered by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi. The Indian Certificate of Secondary Education has been designed as a Course of General Education and all candidates are required to for six subjects and SUPW (Socially Useful Productive Work)
