14.04.2026: INAUGRATION OF 50th SPORTS DAY, The inauguration of the sports day was conducted with great enthusiasm as the institution prepares to celebrate its 50th Annual Sports Day in the month of June. The heats were conducted over two days. The formal inauguration began with the great of Honor. Sub IrfanKolothumJhodi being ceremoniously escorted to the podium by Sr. Principal AviaVaz. Sister of the fraternity and the school cabinet. The programme commenced with a prayer song followed by Sr. Principal extending a warm welcome to the gathering. The games captain lit the torch symbolizing the spirit of sportsmanship. Thereafter the great of honour formally declared the sports meet open ,making a moment of immense pride for all present. 05.02.2026: Motivational Talk, Fr. Dixon from the seminary had visited our school to meet the 12th grades. As they were venturing into a new chapter his visit played a major role. It helped in guiding and inspiring them. The purpose of his visit was to motivate the students and help them because mentally and physically prepared for the real world. Although the transitions after school seem challenging and even frightening .Fr. Dixon reassured the students with his encouraging words. He reminded them that every new beginning brings opportunities for growth and success. 24.01.2026: Second Term Open Day, Classes from Kindergarten to grade 8 had the open day. It gave an opportunity for teachers to meet parents and discuss on their wards performance. The Brain Carnival 2026: Sri Jain Jwak Sangh and St. Joseph’s college, together organized the workshop for students, THE BRAIN CARNIVAL 2026. Parents were Bindiya Murugai a renounced life coach. Students from in and across the Coonoor town were invited to be a part of the workshop. Our school head girl Ms. Andrea grade 11 students along with our PT instructor Mr. Sebatian attended the workshop. The brain carnival event aimed to give practical tools for mental wellness, instant clarity hacks, stress management techniques and pees support. The interactive session helped students to be empowered helping them to reset their brains, manage stress, beat phone addition and build resilience. 01.12.2025: Grade 11 students and class teacher Ms. Varalakshmi were the host of the special Day. “The founders Day”. It was a day to celebrate blessed Mother Maria Clara. The day was celebrated with deep reverence and gratitude by the school community. The programme began with a prayer and followed by cultural performance by the students. This was followed by a Eucharistic celebration at St. Joseph’s church, Barrack’s Teachers, students , well- wishers, members of other institutions were part of this celebration .It was followed by a cultural programme by the Mother Maria Clara youth in the church hall. The programmes were witnessed by all invitees. 01.11.2025 – Crazy hat competition was held on November 1 for classes 2.children from 3 sections participated in the competition. Children had to design their own caps using paper, colour sheets, stickers, and glue. It was amazing to see children working with such precision and interest. They were very creative. Ms. Naadira and Ms. Beaulah [KG] were the judges. Children were judged house wise and four winners were selected and awarded. Children make all things possible. The word impossible never exists for them. 05.11.2025- The Tamilnadu Government Health Department had set up a vaccination camp for our students. Students from aged 5-15were the target. Children of aged 5 and above were asked to bring a willing letter from parent if they wanted DPT vaccine to be administered.
