Our Journey

Holy Innocents High School was founded in 1972 at Wellington Barracks, Tamil Nadu, to impart exemplary education grounded in the sound religious and moral principles of the Franciscan Hospitaller Sisters of the Immaculate Conception (FHIC). The school is committed to nurturing self-disciplined students with a strong sense of responsibility towards themselves, their families, society, and the nation.

Today, the school has been renamed Holy Innocents School and Junior College. It offers education up to the 12th standard, preparing students for the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) and the Indian School Certificate (ISC).

Our physical trainers spare no effort in nurturing our budding athletes, and our students have proudly represented the school at state and national-level tournaments over the years.

Our debaters, dancers, and quizzers have earned laurels at inter-school competitions, while our school choir has consistently outshone others in group singing.

Set amidst a salubrious climate and fresh mountain air, our young minds flourish in an environment that nurtures both intellect and character. With the blessings of the Almighty, we strive to live up to our school’s motto —

School Syllabus

We follow the ISC and ICSE pattern of education. The Examination is administered by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi. The Indian Certificate of Secondary Education has been designed as a Course of General Education and all candidates are required to for six subjects and SUPW (Socially Useful Productive Work)
