INTRODUCTION

“A celebration of leadership and responsibility.” The investiture ceremony was a momentous occasion at our school, where students were formally entrusted with leadership roles and responsibilities. The ceremony aimed to inspire and motivate the students leaders to excel in their duties and set a positive example for their peers.

The ceremony began at 9.30 a.m.

PROCEEDINGS

WELCOME ADDRESS BY THE PRINCIPAL

The principal addressed the gathering and gave them a warm welcome. Volunteers and parents of the newly elected cabinet were a part  of the audience.

LIGHTING OF THE LAMP

The ceremony lamp was lit by the Principal ,Rev. Sr. AviaVaz. It was then lit by the chief guest Rev. Dr. Eugene Newman Joseph, followed by Fr. Jacob, Ms. Bharathi and Ms. Varalakshmi. The lamp symbolized the ignition of leadership qualities.

CHIEF GUEST INTRODUCTION

Mrs. ModhumitaGoswami , English faculty welcomed the gathering and introduced the chief guest for the event. The chief guest was Rev. Dr. Eugene Newman Joseph, Parish Priest , St. Antony’s church, Coonoor. Fr. Jacob also grace the occasion with his august presence.

OATH-TAKING CEREMONY

Rev. Sr. AviaVaz, our principal introduced the head boy, head girl and the secretary of  the school. The Oath was read aloud by the Principal and the student leader repeated the oath. They pledged to uphold their responsibilities.

PINNING OF BADGES

The students leaders were pinned the badges and given the sash. The school flag was handed over by the Principal. The photographer clicked a photograph.

SPORTS CAPTAINS

The Sports captains were introduced by the PT masters-Mr.Sebastian and Mr. Nandakumar. The oath was read aloud by her masters and the captains repeated after them.

ECO-SAMARITANS

The Eco- Samaritans of grade XI were badges by Sr. Celine and Sr. Breejith. They also put the sash for the leaders. A perfect picture of the group was clicked.

HOUSE CAPTAINS AND VICE CAPTAINS

Now, it was time to introduce the captains and vice captains of the four different houses

ST. FRANCIS HOUSE

Mr. Janarthan , the House master of ST. Francis House. Two faculty members from yellow house introduced the captains, vice captains and disciplinary captains of the their respective house. Then they were pinned the badges by the house master and the sash was given by the house teachers. The house flag was handed over to the students by the Principal and the moment was captured.

MOTHER MARIA CLARA HOUSE

Mr. Jerome- House master of Mother Maria Clara house. The captains and Vice-Captains were introduced by the house teachers. Sr. Principal delivered the oath and the leaders repeated it. The leaders were pinned the badges and given the sash. The green house flag was hand over by the principal and a photograph was clicked.

FR. RAIMUNDO HOUSE

Mr. Lokesh- House master of Fr. Raimundo house. The captains and vice captains were introduce by the house teachers. Students delivered the oath of office and were badges by the house master. The sash was put by one of the teachers and the house flag was handed over by the principal. This moment was captured in the camera.

ST. CLARE’S HOUSE

Mr. Prakash – House master of St. Clare’s house. The teachers gave  a brief introduction about the captains and vice captains of their respective house. They were pinned the badges by the house master and were put the sash by the house teacher. Sr. Principal handed over the house flag to the leaders and the photographer clicked a perfect picture.

The ceremony conveyed a powerful message: Leadership is not just a title, but a responsibility to serve and inspire others.

CHIEF GUEST ADDRESS

Rev.Dr. Eugene Newman Joseph, the chief guest addressed the gathering. Rev. Fr. Eugene gave a motivational message to the newly elected cabinet members. He narrated a story and conveyed a message to the leaders through the story. He said that life provides various opportunities to all. It is one’s hand to make the vice decision and chose the best opportunity.

PRESENTATION OF MOMENTOS

The elected leaders were presented with mementos by the principal and the chief guest.

CAKE CUTTING CEREMONY

The principal , chief guest Fr. Jacob cut the cake accompanied by the officer bearers. It was a desert party to end the ceremony on a happy note. This special moment was captured by the lens.

VOTE OF THANKS

Ms. Poornima proposed the vote of thanks and expressed her gratitude to each and everyone who worked tirelessly to make this celebration an occasion of grandeur and regale.

Now, it was time for the head boy to give his first command and lead the students into singing the school anthem.

CAPTURING THE MAGIC

The magical moments were captured by the photographer. House-wise pictures were clicked and then it was the parents turn to celebrate with their children. They clicked the photographs and cherished the moments.

CONCLUSION

            The investiture ceremony was a grand success instilling a sense of pride and purpose in the students leaders. It was a celebration of leadership, responsibility and the pursuit of excellence.
