The Annual Day of our school was celebrated on 31st January with great fervor and zeal. The programme was held in two different sessions

The first session for Pre-Kg , LKG and Std I to V began at 9.30 a.m. The chief guest for the session was Col.K.M. NithinKuttappa, Deputy Commandant, The Madras Regimental Centre and Mrs.Maya Kuttappa was the guest of honor. The fathers and sisters of the neighboring community were present for the annual Day. The show was witnessed by 600 parents and well –wishers. The session began with the lamp lighting ceremony by our principal Rev. Sister AviaVaz followed by the chief guest and other dignitaries.

This was followed by the welcome address by our Principal Rev. Sister AviaVaz. A powerpoint presentation depicting the past achievements of the school in the academic year 2023-2024 was shown to the audience.

The cultural extravaganza began with a variety of dance performances based on various themes like Incredible India, Tribes of India and the cultural heritage of various states.A skit based on the theme “ Save Trees and save the earth” was enacted.A Hindi play depicting the scenario at an old-age home was put up the students.

All the cultural performances and plays were based on the current scenario in the real world.

The chief guest addressed the gathering and also expressed his gratitude to the management. The grand event concluded with the prize distribution ceremony for the meritorious students. Oneof the faculty members proposed the vote of thanks to end the show.

The second show for classes UKG, VI –XI began at 3.00 p.m. The chief guest was Dr. V. Pragadesh, M.B.B.S, DCH, D.N.B consultant pediatrician and Neonatologist, an alumnus of our school , batch 1997. The fathers and sisters of the neighbouring community were present for the annual Day. The show was witnessed by 500 parents and well –wishers. The session began with the lamp lighting ceremony by our principal Rev. Sister Aviavaz followed by the chief guest and other dignitaries.

This was followed by the welcome address by our Principal Rev. Sister Aviavaz. A powerpoint presentation depicting the past achievements of the school in the academic year 2023-2024 was shown to the audience.

Varies dances were presented based on the themes, “ The echoes of war, RajasthaniGhoomar,Thrissurpooram Dance, Harvesting a sustainable future and Women empowerment”.

A English play titled “The Gift of Love” was enacted by the students. The play portrayed how our congregation started and how it has spread far and wide throughout the world. The play spread the message of love and compassion which is the innate quality of the sisters in our congregation. It emphasized of selflessness and humanity.

The Hindi Skit was based on “ TheEffects of social Media”. Based on the recent Wyanad disaster, a mime was enacted.

All the cultural performances highlighted the current incidents happening in the world at large. The event enlightened the audience and everyone had a message to carry home.

The chief guest addressed the gathering and also expressed his gratitude to the management. The grand event concluded with the prize distribution ceremony for the  students who excelled in academics. One of the faculty members proposed the vote of thanks and the celebration concluded with that.

Overall the Annual Day was an event of grandeur and regale. The audience appreciated the efforts and hardwork of both the staff and the students.
