07.08.2025 -MY FIRST FIELD TRIP

It was truly a Red letter day for our school. Students of grade I had their first day with no books carried. The morning began with a fun drawing session, followed by the lively class game fire on the mountain. The game was so engaging that even the teachers turned into kids again!

Without much pause the excitement continued as they headed to the coonoor railway station for the 12.35 Toy train. Boarding at Coonoor and alighting at Aruvankadu. The children enjoyed the scenic ride before returning to school by 1.30 p.m. Lunch was a special affair on the basket ball court, where they relished their food in the open air, free to chat laugh and enjoy their own little word. After a shot rest the afternoon brought a creature clay activity-making national flag and learning how to craft kites. The day ended with snapshots and memories to treasure, wrapping up an experience that will stay in the hearts for a long time.

VISIT TO OLD AGE HOME INTERACT CLUB

On 7thAugust 2025, 13 students from the Interact club of our school, accompanied by the Rotary club in charge, Ms. Poornima visited an old age home in Coonoor as part of their community service and social awareness programme . They were joined by Mr. Prakash and Ms. Margret.

The visit proved to be both heartwarming and eye-opening giving students an opportunity to connect and loiletires the student award with gest enthusiasm and were warmly welcomed by the sisters at the home.

During their time there the students engaged in meaningful conversation with the usedint participated in activities and entertained them with music and performance. Their simple act of kindness brought smiles to the faces of the elderly creating an atmosphere of joy and wormth.

The visit not only strengthened the students sense of compassion but also important valuable life lessons that will remain with them for years to come.

08.08.2025- EXPLORERS OF GRADE 4

The young explorer of grade four embarked on an exciting journey filled with curiosity, discovery and hands on learning. This day was marked by new experience shared laughter and moments that made it a true adventure to remember.

The trip began with a visit to the Radio Astronomy center, an alive inspiring experience for all. Excitement filled the air as students caught the first glimpse of the Ooty Radio Telescope, a marvel in its own right . The highlight was an engaging session with Mr. Praveen the scientific officer, who explained about the ORT. His insights sparkled lively curiosity and our inquisitive students eagerly posed question, hungry to learn more.

The journey continued to the Tribal Museum, where students explore , the heritage of the indigenous tribes of the Nilgiris. This immersive experience broadened their knowledge and deepened their appreciation for the region’s cultural diversity.

09.08.2025 -FACULTY DEVELEPOMENT PROGRAMME: UNCLEAN AND RELEARN

A faculty development programme was organized featuring Dr. Yeshwanth an eminent educational leader and visionary –with his vast experience in the field of education, he conducted highly interactive and engaging session that inspired teachers to reflect on their lesson plan, learning outcomes and teaching strategies.

As part of the programme, subject –wise group activities were conducted, where teachers collaboratively framed lesson plans. The session emphasized the important of designing well-structured lesson plans, setting clear learning outcomes and using precise, disruptive language. Dr. Yeshwanth stressed the need for clear and specific instructions, cautioning against generalization.

The FDP lift teacher with valuable insights to enhance their instructional practice and improve classroom effectiveness.

10.08.2025- The regional CISCE Athletics meet 2025 was organized by St. Jude’s Public School, Kotagiri. This meet was for two days August 10 and August 11. It was held at Thangaraj Stadium (MRC), Wellington Coonoor. Twenty schools had participated from our school had participated in the under 14, under 17 and under 19 category, in various events.

As to the tagline of the meet “ Ignite the track… “ our students did ignite the track. Our students have been chosen to represent in the National for various events.

Sakshi Kumari has been selected for High Jump in the U-17 Category.

Hitish Prakash has been selected for 200 m in the U-19 Category

Vinish has been selected for 4*100 Relay.

Rithik Ragul has been selected as a stand by 110 m hurdles.

11.08.2025- FEAST OF ST. CLARE

On August 11 the feast of St. Clare was celebrated with grandeur. Students of yellow house under the guidance of the staff in yellow house made the day a remarkable one. A meaningful prayer service was conducted. Students through skit enacted the life of St. Clare. She is the patron of telephone, telegraph and television. The feast celebration ended with beautiful quotes and hymns.

11.08.2025 – the feast of St. Clare of Assisi was celebrated with a meaningful prayer service conducted by Sr. Annamma. The Holy Eucharist was celebrated by Rev. Fr. Felix, who highlighted her virtues.

11.08.2025-  DRUG FREE TAMILNADU CAMPAIGN

On according with the government of Tamil Nadu’s initiative to create a Drug-free Tamilnadu, our school activity participated in the state wide mass Anti-Drug pledge campaign. The campaign aimed to raise awareness among student about the harmful effect of drug use and to instill a strong commitment to a drug free lifestyle.

The following activities were successfully organized at our school.

         Skits and play

Motivational talk was delivered by Sandhya S of CXI. Who emphasized  the importance of staying away from drugs and choosing healthy lifestyle.

The school choir presented a theme based song promoting awareness.

Students participated in a rally award the nearly locality, carrying banners and chanting slogans.

Fifty five students from class XII participated in the event. Mr. Prakash Immanuel and Mr. Udaya Kumar were the staff coordinator for the antidrug awareness program.

12.08.2025-  FARM TOUR ACTIVITY

Grade II students had a delightful learning experience during their farm tour at Cherry Berry. The visit offered a close-up new of farm life. Children explored vegetable garden, fruit orchard arm animals. They participated in hands-on activity such as feeding animals , identifying different plants and understanding how food is grown and how it reaches our table. The trip blended with education. Encouraging curiosity about nature, healthy eating and sustainable living. The cheerful atmosphere and interactive activities made it a memorable day for all.

12.08.2025- INTERACTIVE PROGRAMME –INTERACT WING

Wellington Cantonment Board in  association with the Rotary club of Nilgiris and Interact wing of Rotary had organized an interactive programme in Roperia Auditorium, MRC, Wellington. 35 students from grade 8, along with Ms. Poornima and Ms. Cicily participated in this interactive programme Brig. Krishnedu was present for this event. There were talks on various topics. Col. Anshul spoke about career in Uniform and the story of operation Sindoor was given by Major Arnab Roy, he took us through the daring and strategic military response by India after the Pahalgam attacks. Children gained knowledge through this session.

12.08.2025 -Our students of Grade VI were part of a rally organized by the school. The motto of the rally was end plastic pollution. Students holding banners and placards walked from school upto Bharat Nagar. Children Chanted slogans to inspire the local people to reduce single use plastic. Teachers , volunteers and policemen from wellington station guided the participants ensuring a disciplined and impactful event. The rally concluded with a pledge, along with the local people to reduce , reuse, recycle and refuse plastic.

12.08.2025-  RALLY BY FOOT FOR “END PLASTIC POLUTION”

Our students are always motivated to be ambassadors for a greener society. Students of grade 6 under the guidance of Ms. Lissa, Ms. Leema  and Ms. Marcia conducted a rally. The rally began at our school and ended at Bharat Nagar. WCB and police from Wellington station supported us in  the noble act. Students enthusiastically carrying placards, chanted slogans. The rally gave an opportunity to spread awareness among the local people. At the end of the rally a pledge was taken to show our voices against plastic usage.

12.08.2025: GRADE X PARENT TEACHERS MEETING

Parent teachers meeting for grade X was conducted in the hall from 3.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m. The meeting provided an opportunity for parents to interact with teachers and discuss the academic as well as co-curricular progress of the students. Teachers emphasized the importance of consistent study habits, Time management and focused preparation for the upcoming board examination. Parents were also informed about the internal assessments, projects submissions and strategies to support students at home The meeting was conducted for two successful days [August 12 and August 13 from 3.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m.

13.08.2025- FARM TO TABLE

Grade III students participated in an enriching Farm to table field trip in Cherry Berry, the trip gave first hand knowledge about the journey of food from its source to our plate. The visit began with a tour of the farm where students burned about various cultivation techniques. They had the opportunity to know about strawberry farming and also harvesting it. This experience not only deepened their understanding of food source and healthy eating. It also nurtured appreciation for the hard work behind every meal.

13.08.2025-  STREET PLAY – END PLASTIC POLLUTION

To spread awareness about the harmful effects of plastic waste, our grade students presented a powerful street play titled avoid plastic. The street play was put up in china Vandisolai. The engaging dialogues, expressive acting and impactful slogans, the students captured the attention of passers-by and community members. The play encouraged people to adopt eco-friendly habit such as carrying cloth tags, using steel or glass containers and avoiding plastic pollutions. The initiative not only educated the audience but also strengthened the students commitment to environmental conservation. The class teacher also a played a major role in making the street play a successful one.

14.08.2025- Interschool Volleyball tournament for boys was held in St, Jude’s Public School, Kotagiri. Boys of U-19 category were part of this tournament. The tournament witness thrilling matches as the teams displayed remarkable energy, skills and co-ordination on the court- our school played with KPS and JSS. In the first round, our team put up an excellent performance and secured victory. Although we lost in the subsequent spirit, determination and teamwork throughout the tournament. It was truly a remarkable day for the student as they gained valuable experience, learned new techniques. The event not only  strengthened their skills but also  motivated them to strive harder for future matches.

15.08.2025-  79th INDEPENDENCE DAY

The 79th Independence day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor in our school the programme was beautifully organized by the students and teachers of grade VIII.

The day began with a solemn tribute to the brave heroes who laid down their lives for the freedom of our nation.  The guest of honor was Lt. Col. Dr. Dhanalakshmi. Sr. Principal and the guest together hoisted the flag followed by  singing of the National Anthem. Students of grade 9,10,11,10 with pride and enthusiasm marched in symphony showcasing discipline, strength and respect for the nation. The event also featured an extempore competition for grade VII and grade VIII. Students spoke spontaneously on themes related to patriotism unity and national pride.

As part of the programme the much awaited inverting of school newsletter “ INSPERIA” took place. This significant moment added a sense of pride and excitement to the day, marking yet another milestone in our school’s journey. The entire celebration reflected the spirit of unity, respect and patriotism. The efforts of grade VIII students and teachers were appreciated by the Principal. The day was both meaningful and memorable for all.

20.08.2025-  INTERSCHOOL FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT

The interschool football for the U-14 was held in Hebron school from August 20 to August 22. Fourteen schools were part of the football tournament, Our school played with woodside on august 20, with 3-1 August 21 with Kaathi, and took 0-4 and on August 22 with ICS for 1-0. Though we won 1 and lost 2 matches the experience was recording . Our boys gave their best.

21.08.2025: CHILD AWARENESS PROGRAMME

The District, The Nilgiris child protection society organized a child awareness programme in our school for classes 9-12. The objective of the session was to create awareness among children about their rights, safety and responsibility. The session aimed at sensiting students to the importance of protecting themselves from various form of abuse and exploitation. The sessions was informative and engaging.

21.08.2025 – FIRE DRILL

The fire service department conducted an awareness activity in our school to educate students about fire safety and protection. Officers from the fire department explained the cause of form the department explained the causes of different types of fire accident and demonstrated the correct use of fire extinguishers. A mock fire drill was organized, children knew about the various kinds of measure to be taken for fire accidents . The session was highly interactive and informative.

21.08.2025-  CISCE NATIONAL FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT – U-19

A proud moment for our school. Three of our students were selected to represent the U-19 Tamil Nadu team namely:

1. Sam Silvester of Grade XII

2. Pranesh of Grade XII

3. Fernando Messi of Grade XI

To play in Delhi, for the National Football Tournament.

The students had the opportunity to gain new experience. All that they learnt had to be showcased. They played 3 matches, against West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh but lost to North India term. The experience gained was the priceless reward for them.

22.08.2025-  INTERSCHOOL SCRIPTURE QUIZ

AHESSN SCRIPTURE QUIZ for the academic year 2025-2026 was conducted by Stanes Anglo Indian Higher Secondary School. The theme of the Quiz was “ UNBOUND”. The competition was conducted under 2 category- High school and Higher secondary level, with 10 members in each category. Each category had six rounds, and teams participated in each category. The two teams had three rounds each. Eleven schools had participated in the high school category. Though our high school did their best to compete with other schools they couldn’t reach the first. Nine schools participated in the Higher Secondary category and our children took second with a different of one point from the first   position.

Beyond quiz our children got to know more about the word of God.

24.08.2025 : REGIONAL BOXING COMPETITION, 2025

The Nachujar Padarhala International school hosted the CISCE Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry and Andaman and Nicobar Islands Boxing competition 2025. Four students from our school participated in this competition namely

All the four of them secured gold medals in their categories. It was a proud moment for our boys. Their hardwork dedication and sincerity has paid them immensely.

29.08.2025 –  ICING THE CAKE

The Icing the cake competition was an exciting and creative event organized for students to showcase their artistic skills. The competition challenged students to decorate pre-baked cake on the theme “Teachers Day” using various type of icing, toppings an decoration. Classes V to VII participated in the competition. It was a group with five participants in each group. A total of 236 students participated in the icing competition. The Judges of the competition were Mr and Mrs Babu proprietor of Mud Pie.

29.08.2025 –  CARD MAKING COMPETITION

Students who  were not part of the icing the cake competition was given a chance to participate in card making competition. The theme was gratitude to teachers. Such wonderful, creative, expressive cards were brilliantly designed. It showed the love they had for their teachers.
