01.09.2025 to 04.09.2025 : The 73rd AHESSN mostly known as the Inter school Athletic meet was held at the MRC ground, Barracks from September 1 to September 4 2025. 23 schools participated in this big event. It was a spirited celebrated of sportsmanship, house pride and perseverance. 

 The heats were from September 1st to September 3rd 2025. September 4 was the great day for the event. Our school stood 5th in the boys category and 7th in the girls category. It’s not always participate. Few of our athletic performed extremely well. Their names are as follows

U-17 Category –Boys

In 100m Shashwat won Gold. In 110 m Hurdles Rithik Ragul won Gold. In Triple Jump Rithik Ragul won silver. 4X100 m Relay legial, Kamalesh Righik Ragul and Shaswat won gold.

03.09.2025 : Onam Celebration, Students of grade 6 and 7 celebrated Onam with grandeur. The celebration began with lighting of the lamp, prayer dance invoking God’s blessings. The programme include a skit which told the story of Maveli and a synchronized dance with elegant moves. The programme was well  organized by the teachers of grade 6 and 7 namely Ms. Leema, Ms.Lissa, Ms. Archana, Ms. Madhu , and  Ms. Auxilia . They had kindled the joy of Onam in all our hearts.

“INSPIRING MINDS BUILDING NATION” THEME OF CISCE”

The CISCE announced a short poem competition for classes 9-12 under the two categories. Category 1 for classes 9-10, category II for classes 11-12.The theme for the competition was “Classroom called life”. The best of the poem had to be chosen and uploaded in the website on 5th of September. This competition was to motivate students to show gratitude to their “GURUS”. The competition was Miss. Catherine George from category II were had requested the management to celebrate teachers day on the theme “INSPIRING MINDS BUILDING NATIONS”

04.09.2025: Teachers day, Celebrating teachers the pillar of the institutions, Sr. Principal had hoisted a beautiful day for the teacher. Mass was celebrated by Rev. Fr. Felix for the teachers. It was a meaningful service flowingly teachers were served with a hearty lunch. The day ended with love, care and happiness. Students of grade 11 and the cabinet had hoisted the teachers day celebration in the school ground. Children showed their love through various art forms such as dance, skit. They also gave gift for the entire teaching community expressing their love and gratitude.

08.09.2025: Mother Mary feast & Celebration football team

The feast of our Lady was celebrated with great devotion and joy. Grade II students had organized the celebration meaningfully along with Ms. Varalakshmi their class teacher.

It was also a day to felicitate the inter school football players and their parents children were given trophies. Certificates and parents who stood by them were adorned with shawl. The coaches of the football team Mr. Udhay Kumar and Mr. Lokesh were also felicitated. The entire teams were served with hearty breakfast.

09.09.2025: Students of grade 11 and the cabinet had hoisted the teachers day celebration in the school ground. Children showed their love through various art forms such as dance, skit. They also gave gift for the entire teaching community expressing their love and gratitude.

08.09.2025 – 14.09.2025: CISCE NATIONAL HOCKEY TOURNAMENT, RANCHI

The CISCE, national Hockey Tournament was held from 8-14 of September. It was a proud moment for our school, as their students are representing the state of Tamil Nadu. Nathaniel of grade 12 as the national goal keeper, B. Yadav and sankarnath as the football players. A proud moment for us to see our children shining bright at the stars.

12.09.2025: CISCE ATHELETIC MEET, BANGALORE

The CISCE athletic meet, was held in Bangalore. We had four of students participating in this meet. Hitiesh Prakash of grade 12 participated in 100 m Boys category. Vinisha of grade X participated in the 100 m Girls category. Sakshi of grade X participated in high jump, Rithik Ragul of grade XI participated in the Hurdles 110m.

Hitesh Prakash won the fourth place in 100m and secured second place in 4X100 m relay.

12.09.2025: INTERSCHOOL DANCE COMPETITION

The Interschool Dance competition was organized by JSS, Ooty. Twenty five schools participated in this competition. The theme of the competition was “CULTURAL HERITAGE OF INDIA” Thirteen students from our school participated. Students were well trained by Ms. Varalakshmi. Hard work is the secret of success”. Our students lirelus practice dedication and sincerity earned them the second position in the competition. A moment of pride for the school. The students were supported by Ms. Maria Priya and Sr. Brijeet in all ways on the day of competition. 

13.09.2025: RUN-A-THON 2025

The alumni of St.Josephs college , Coonoor organized an exciting runathon in which 19 school participated with great enthusiasm. The event was a true test of the students strength, stamina, perseverance. Our school students of grade 11 participated in this competition and were accompanied by Mr. Sebastian and Mr. Nandakumar our physical education. We stood the 14th place. It was indeed a motivating experience for all the participants. Encouraging them to challenge their limits and celebrate the spirit of sportsmanship.

13.09.2025: 45th Inter School Hindi Debate competition

Lawrence Memorial school had organized for the 45th Hindi Debate competition celebrating Rashtriya Hindi Diwas. The topic for the debate was “Supreme court is the protected of the country’s democracy”. Shreyas Giri of grade 9 and Mohammed Shamer of grade 9 participated for and against the motion respectively. Both of the students presented their arguments well. Though they did not secure a position it gave them an invaluable experience. In debating and public speaking at an inter school level.

17.09.2025 to 20.09.2025: The CISCE National Boxing championship was held at Jabelpur . Our students master Saswath, Mark Aadhavan, Nithish and Thejaswin participated in this vent. Saswat stood first winning Gold, Mark Aadhavan secured  silver medal and Nithesh, Thejaswin won Bronze. This was a happy moment and a prestigious moment for our boys shining. All about goes to the trainer for their tribute effort.

Saswath has been selected for the SGFI (School Games Federation of India) Category.

19.09.2025: U-19 INTER SCHOOL GIRLS FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT, The U-19 Girls team of our school proudly participated in the Inter School Girls Football tournament. They played 3 marches against ICS, LMS and Hebron. Although the team did not secure a win, the experience provided an excellent opportunity to enhance their skills, develop team spirit and gain valuable exposure.

Such experience inspire our students to presence, learn from challenges and work with determination towards a brighter tomorrow.

26.09.2025: SWACHH KI SEVA 2025, The WCB had organized for a services for our 8th grades on waste management and personal hygiene. Mr. Palaniswamy, Sanitary Inspector of WCB was the speakers. He very clearly described the processes involved in waste management and how we can make inhouse management wastes. Told the importance of comport and comport pits. The session was a fruitful one.

27.09.2025: The BSNL, Coonoor conducted an art competition for children from classes 6-8 . The theme was “BSNL AND ME” children were provided with drawing sheets by the BSNL team. Our children enthusiastically participated in this competition. Who doesn’t like to play with colors? Children crealid beautiful masterpiece. The best were selected and rewarded with attractive prizes.

30.09.2025: “Make me a Channel of your peace” Honouring St. Francis the patron saint of animals, ecology and peace the greenhouse teachers and students celebrated the day with grandeur. A meaningful service was held, reminding everyone one deep faith of St. Francis and his call to live in harmony with creation. The celebration inspired the school community to follow the example of St. Francis by showing kindness, caring for the environment and living a life of peace and service. The Eco-Samaritans of our school who are walking in the path of St. Francis and making the campus a litter free zone, were awarded with medals.
