01.11.2025 – Crazy hat competition was held on November 1 for classes 2.children from 3 sections participated in the competition. Children had to design their own caps using paper, colour sheets, stickers, and glue. It was amazing to see children working with such precision and interest. They were very creative. Ms. Naadira and Ms. Beaulah [KG] were the judges. Children were judged house wise and four winners were selected and awarded. Children make all things possible. The word impossible never exists for them.

05.11.2025- The Tamilnadu Government Health Department had set up a vaccination camp for our students. Students from aged 5-15were the target. Children of aged 5 and above were asked to bring a willing letter from parent if they wanted DPT vaccine to be administered. Children from aged 10-15 were requested to do the same if they wanted DT vaccine to be administered. Children who were vaccinated were allowed to go home at 2.00 p.m.

12.11.2025- The Upper Kindergarten fancy dress competition was held on November 12, 2025 in the Primary Activity Hall. The event began with great excitement and enthusiasm among the tiny tots. The little ones of UKG came dressed in creature colorful costumes representing endemic tribes found around the world. Each spoke confidently about their tribe. The judges appreciated their effort and creativity. The winners were awarded certificate and small gifts. The competition was a delightful experience that encouraged self-expression confidence and creativity among young learners.

13.11.2025- The Lower Kindergarten fancy dress competition was held on November 13, 2025. The competition was held in the Primary Activity Hall. The little learners arrived in vibrant and creative costumes. They dressed themselves as tom, jerry, peppa, masha, insects such as caterpillar, ladybird, butterfly, grasshopper and representing states of India.
Each confidently saying a few lines about their chosen character. The stage was filled with color, joy and excitement as the children showcased their talents. The judges appreciated the children for their expression, dialogue delivery and costume. The event concluded with the distribution of certificates and prizes. It helped the children build confidence and presence while having lots of fun.

15.11.2025 –The leopard’s tribe is the story, of an Adivasi family who find themselves at the forefront of a resistance movement directed by Miriam chandy menacherry
The rotary club of Coonoor in association with the MRC screened this movie in the Ropera stadium, Students of grade 9 were invited to watch their documentary. The class teachers of grade 9, Ms. Faridha, MS. Archana and SM. Aneetha accompanied the children. The film was screened as a part of children’s day celebration. There was also a book fair organized by Higginbotham, Ooty.

16.11.2025 – The Direct level Hockey league was hosted by Sri Sathy Sai trust in Ooty. In the U-18, C division category Amano of grade 8 participated presenting as a member of Dayan Chand club. They won the league and received a cash price of Rupees 25,000/-

17.11 to 21.11.2025- The interschool hockey tournament was held at Hebron school Ooty from 17th to 21st November . Children (boys) participated in this tournament under two categories U-14, U-17.
On 17th the U-14 boys played against Laidlaw Memorial school and it was a draw 2:2 On 18th match was played against Brindavan Public School and they lost On 20th the match was played against Hildas and were qualified for the semifinals. This was first of the kind in the history of HISJC. The semi-finals was held on 21/11/25,though they lost it gave them an experience to learn in new ways.
The U-17 boys had their first match with Brindavan Public school, followed by Laidlaw Memorial School and Lawrence. Though they had no trophies in their hand, they carry the trophy of participation and team spirit.

19.11- 21.11.2025 The 69th ASISC annual conference took place in Zirakpur, Punjab. This conference secured as a platform for schools stake holders and leaders across Indiato discuss the future of education, innovative solutions and integrating technology with learning. The ICSE curriculum and the conduct of exam were discussed. Rev. Sr. Avia Vaz, Principal and Mrs. Varalakshmi our senior faculty attended this conference. One thousand eight school principals across India were part of this conference.

25.11.2025- The intersection science quiz was held for students of class 4 and 5. The organizing committee for the quiz was Ms. Soffia Paul, Ms. Sofia K, Ms. Swetha, SM. Celine, Ms. Angel, Ms. Archana, and Ms. Delfina. The quiz had 3 teams. Team A was represented by the B section, Team B represented by section A and Team C was represented by C section. The quiz had four rounds it compressed of make the correct word, subjective round, making connections and rapid fire. They were able to give answers instantly. At the end in the scoreboard Tam C stood first, Team A stood second and Team B stood third. It was all about participated, beyond winning.

27.11.2025- “Kalakriti rotary club Nilgiris, A cultural event was organized by the rotary club of Nilgiris for all the Interact club at St. Antony’s Higher Secondary School, Coonoor. Eleven schools from the district participated in various group and individual events like drawing, debate, essay writing, group dance and mime. Topics for all the events were given by the organizing committee. 21 students represented our school participating in various events. Our troups of dancers secured the second place in the dance. Kavi Rajani of grade 11 secured the 3 place in the drawing competition. They were awarded with certificates, medaltrophies and participation certificates for the participants.

29.11.2025- The Upper Kindergarten Graduation ceremony for the little stars of our school held with grace and grandeur. Mrs. Niha Ghabakh correspondent Early Stepping Stones Pre-school was the great of honour. The little one with their graduation attire looked mesmerizing. They were filled with joy and happiness to see their parents encouraging them as they were receiving their certificates.

GRADE XII GRADUATION DAY
The grade 12 graduation day was celebration with great enthusiasm and pride. The ceremony made a significant milestone in the lives if the graduating students as they step into a new chapter filled with opportunities and aspirations Mr. Quentin Tyron Pope as the great of honour. The programme commences with a warm welcome address, followed by a prayer song. The school principal delivered an inspiring speech highlighting the resilience and achievement of the outgoing batch. Encouraged them to be the torchbearers of Holy Innocents. Students were presented with graduation certificates. Parents teachers and invited guests shared in the pride and the joyful moment.


29.11.2025 – Our school was a part of the Edu-conclave held at LISEUX, Coimbatore from Nov 28th to Nov 29th 2025. Students were invited to participate and present topic. Ms. Carlo Stessy of grade 11 and Ms. Alphonsa M P of grade 10 participated in this conclave presenting their papers. It gave them an opportunity to showcase their public speaking skills. Along with this students were awarded for their excellence in all fields. T.Shaswat our school, the Head boy was awarded the best student for the excellence in sports, academics and co-curricular activities. They also honored the best teachers with “Achaya award”. Ms. Varalakshmi our senior faculty was awarded with this prestigious award. They also awarded principal who have been the guiding lights and Rev. Sr. Avia Vaz was awarded the best missionary award. The student for the presentation was guided by Ms. Soffia A. Eleven students from grade 11, along with presenters and Ms. Soffia attended the conclave. The LISEUX group of school had showcased a wonderful event and encouraged students, teachers who are excelling in the field of education in their own ways.
