Navigating Towards Wellness: Empowering a Drug-Free Generation
On the 16th of July, 2026, our school auditorium bore witness to a profoundly impactful Drug Awareness and Wellness Programme under the banner of NALSA DAWN (Drug Awareness and Wellness Navigation for a Drug-Free India), organized in collaboration with the Taluk Legal Services Committee, Coonoor. The event commenced with a warm welcome address by Drug Awareness Coordinator Mr. Prakash Immanuel, setting an earnest tone for the day. We were deeply honoured by the presence of esteemed chief guests—Sub-Judge Ms. M. Mekala Mythili, Judicial Magistrate Ms. R. Geetha, and a representative from the District Munsif Court, Ms. R. Himaksithi—alongside distinguished resource people including advocates Mr. T. Ramachandren and Ms. E. Saiprakash, and Ms. Sumathi. Through deeply informative sessions, the dignitaries elucidated the perilous health effects of substance abuse, vital legal frameworks, child protection laws, and the paramount importance of making responsible choices for a healthy life. Winners of preceding events were proudly honoured by the chief and special guests, followed by a graceful vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Angel Pemala. The programme culminated in a spirited Anti-Drug Awareness Rally, where students and teachers marched from the school campus to MH, passionately spreading the message of a drug-free society and echoing the inspiring pledge: “Say No to Drugs, Say Yes to Life.”



Guardians of the Future: Empowering Parents in the Fight Against Substance Abuse
Our institution hosted an insightful and vital Drug Awareness Programme organized by the local police department exclusively for parents of students from grades VIII to XII. Designed to equip families with the necessary knowledge and tools to safeguard children from the growing menace of drug abuse, the session featured esteemed resource people Ms. Prema, Sub-Inspector, and Ms. Sangavi from the Wellington Police Station.During the address, Ms. Prema shared critical insights into prevailing drug trends among the youth, elucidating the physical, emotional, and behavioral warning signs of substance use. Parents were guided on vigilance and timely intervention, with helpline numbers and instructions to download the drug-free App shared among the attendees.The interactive session concluded with an overwhelmingly positive response, prompting authorities to announce plans for regular collaborative workshops in schools.

Our school community came together in a profound display of faith and unity on the 13th of July, 2026, to observe the auspicious Feast of Fr. Raimundo. The solemn yet uplifting commemoration commenced with a sacred Holy Mass, where students and staff gathered in collective prayer and reflection. It was a deeply moving occasion dedicated to honouring the life, visionary leadership, and enduring legacy of Fr. Raimundo, whose foundational values continue to guide and inspire our institution. This spiritual gathering not only fostered a strong sense of fellowship among attendees but also reinforced our shared commitment to carrying forward his noble mission of education and compassion

Golden Legacies and Sporting Triumphs: Celebrating Five Decades of Athletic Excellence
On the 18th of July, 2026, our school marked a momentous milestone with the Golden Jubilee Annual Athletic Meet, representing a grand confluence of sport, spirit, and fifty years of academic and athletic excellence. The celebration became even more special as the day witnessed the much-anticipated inauguration of the school’s brand-new football turf, which was graciously blessed by Fr. Jaison Edesherry, Assistant Parish Priest of St. Joseph’s Church, and officially inaugurated by the chief guest, Mr. Arun Rajendran, Managing Director of Astra Textiles, alongside his spouse and esteemed alumna Ms. Deepikai, amidst the august presence of our Principal, Rev. Sr. Avia Vaz, and other dignitaries. The athletic grounds came alive with vibrant colour, high energy, and fierce competitive spirit as students from the junior-most to the senior-most grades took to the track with remarkable enthusiasm. The festivities culminated in an eagerly awaited prize distribution ceremony where students were awarded medals, certificates, and trophies across divisions, with the overall boys’ championship proudly clinched by Mother Maria Clara House and the overall girls’ championship grabbed by Fr. Raimundo House, making it a truly unforgettable celebration of community, legacy, and the enduring human spirit.
