24.01.2026: Second Term Open Day, Classes from Kindergarten to grade 8 had the open day. It gave an opportunity for teachers to meet parents and discuss on their wards performance. The Brain Carnival 2026: Sri Jain Jwak Sangh and St. Joseph’s college, together organized the workshop for students, THE BRAIN CARNIVAL 2026. Parents were Bindiya Murugai a renounced life coach. Students from in and across the Coonoor town were invited to be a part of the workshop. Our school head girl Ms. Andrea grade 11 students along with our PT instructor Mr. Sebatian attended the workshop. The brain carnival event aimed to give practical tools for mental wellness, instant clarity hacks, stress management techniques and pees support. 01.12.2025: Grade 11 students and class teacher Ms. Varalakshmi were the host of the special Day. “The founders Day”. It was a day to celebrate blessed Mother Maria Clara. The day was celebrated with deep reverence and gratitude by the school community. The programme began with a prayer and followed by cultural performance by the students. This was followed by a Eucharistic celebration at St. Joseph’s church, Barrack’s Teachers, students , well- wishers, members of other institutions were part of this celebration .It was followed by a cultural programme by the Mother  Maria Clara youth in the church hall. The programmes were witnessed by all invitees. The celebration conclude with a fellowship lunch, fostering a spirit of unity and togetherness and reaffirming the institutions commitment to upload the ideals she stood for. 01.11.2025 – Crazy hat competition was held on November 1 for classes 2.children from 3 sections participated in the competition. Children had to design their own caps using paper, colour sheets, stickers, and glue. It was amazing to see children working with such precision and interest. They were very creative. Ms. Naadira and Ms. Beaulah [KG] were the judges. Children were judged house wise and four winners were selected and awarded. Children make all things possible. The word impossible never exists for them. 05.11.2025- The Tamilnadu Government Health Department had set up a vaccination camp for our students. Students from aged 5-15were the target. Children of aged 5 and above were asked to bring a willing letter from parent if they wanted DPT vaccine to be administered. 06.10.2025: COMMEMORATIVE ACTIVITIES ON GANDHI JAYANTHI, The CISCE council had extended its imitation to all schools under its affiliation to activity participate in various activities commemorating Gandhi Jayanthi. In response our school enthusiastically took part in the cleanliness drive. Students from grade 9 accompanied by Ms. Aneetha, visited the nearby village of Bharath Nagar and actively participated in clean-up campaign. The initiative aimed to instill in students the values of service, cleanliness and social responsibility-echoing Mahatma Gandhi’s mission of clean and progressive nation. 06.10.2025: DRUG AWARNESS RALLY Students of grade 7 under the guidance of Sr. Principal and Mr. Prakash organized a drug awareness rally. Students carrying flash card with slogans chanted walked from the school campus to Barracks. 01.09.2025 to 04.09.2025 : The 73rd AHESSN mostly known as the Inter school Athletic meet was held at the MRC ground, Barracks from September 1 to September 4 2025. 23 schools participated in this big event. It was a spirited celebrated of sportsmanship, house pride and perseverance.   The heats were from September 1st to September 3rd 2025. September 4 was the great day for the event. Our school stood 5th in the boys category and 7th in the girls category. It’s not always participate. Few of our athletic performed extremely well. Their names are as follows U-17 Category –Boys In 100m Shashwat won Gold. In 110 m Hurdles Rithik Ragul won Gold. 07.08.2025 -MY FIRST FIELD TRIP It was truly a Red letter day for our school. Students of grade I had their first day with no books carried. The morning began with a fun drawing session, followed by the lively class game fire on the mountain. The game was so engaging that even the teachers turned into kids again! Without much pause the excitement continued as they headed to the coonoor railway station for the 12.35 Toy train. Boarding at Coonoor and alighting at Aruvankadu. The children enjoyed the scenic ride before returning to school by 1.30 p.m. Lunch was a special affair on the basket ball court, where they relished their food in the open air, free to chat laugh and enjoy their own little word. After a shot rest the afternoon brought a creature clay activity-making national flag and learning how to craft kites. The day ended with snapshots
